Following on from ‘Newsday Tuesday’s’ theme of National Novel Month, Mrs Holmes has introduced an Elvington story writing competition. Children in any year group are welcome to enter and write a story of their choice (please note that this competition is optional). If children would like any inspiration for their story, we highly recommend The Literacy Shed which has images and video clips that spark your imagination. All entries are to be passed to Mrs Holmes by Monday 12th December. Winners and prizes will be announced in January!
