After successfully climbing Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon and Scafell Pike, we are attempting to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

Click to visit Mr Buttery’s Just Giving page!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Any money raised will be used to purchase reading resources for Elvington Church of England Primary School. An article on the challenge was featured in The Press: www.yorkpress.co.uk/ news/23365378.elvington-ce-school-york-head-teacher-three-peaks-trek/.
