York City’s Walk to School week begins Mon 23rd October.

This week we will be encouraging all children to participate by walking, cycling or scooting to school to highlight both the health and environmental benefits of leaving the car at home. If it is not possible to do this perhaps, you could park further away and walk for a short distance or encourage your child to walk around the playground several times before the morning bell rings.
