All school club information is available. Due to coach and teacher availability, not all clubs will be starting on the same date next term. This information will remain in the Newsletter each week until clubs have commenced.
Don’t forget next week is Walk to School Week, take a look at the ‘Did You Know, Do You Know’ information to understand the importance of cutting emissions.
We have also attached information regarding a Pamper Evening on Thursday 26th October 7-9pm at Belvoir Lodge, The Green , Elvington. This is a lovely opportunity to solve some Christmas gift problems, relax, be treated, and raise money for the PTFA.
As a result, I am delighted to inform you that I am using this fantastic opportunity to raise money for the PTFA at the school. All money raised will provide vital resources and enrichment experiences for our amazing pupils that the school might not otherwise be able to afford.
With the support of the school and the PTFA, I am planning to arrange several events from now until the race that will involve all the children in my training, help highlight the fun of exercise and also the benefit of bringing a growth mindset into class every day. The picture attached is from when I last ran the marathon in 2015, and you can read my story here.
**This refers to the potential training miles involved in preparing for the event but may be subject to a competition, so not going to be giving too much away!Mrs Leach

Our school has been invited to become a Music Mark School. This is in recognition of the value that we place on music, all the work we do to ensure that pupils at Elvington Church of England Primary School are able to access a high-quality music education and the school’s dedication to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
