A record breaking total!

This year you helped us raise an amazing, record breaking total of £988 for Children in Need! I would like to thank the School Council for planing and organising the different events that has led to such an incredible amount raised. Well done! School Council.

Christmas Post Box opens 1/12/16

post-box-300pxmerry-christmas-card-300pxChildren are welcome to bring their Christmas cards for their classmates into school from Thursday 1st December. The letter box in the entrance hall will be transformed into a Christmas post box for the whole of December, and the Year 6 children will sort the post everyday and deliver the cards to each class. Please write each child’s full name and class on the front of each card to ensure that they reach the correct recipient. We would also ask parents to encourage children to write their own Christmas cards as it is the perfect opportunity to practise!

Don’t forget there are four events to raise money this year:

1) Wear your onesie
2) Sponsored dance off
3) Cake sale
4) Guess the smarties on the cake

Please can we ask families to donate cakes for the cake sale. Please could these be handed into the school office on the morning of Children in Need.

Many thanks in advance.School Council.
