Please see Cake Stall information for Class 3, Parents’ Evening details and Diary Dates.

Thank you to all of you that have brought in Sweet/Biscuit Tubs for recycling, resulting in funding for MacMillan Cancer Support. We are taking them in until 7th February, so there is still plenty of time if you are yet to finish off the Christmas treats.

February Parents’ Evenings

We will be continuing to use our online booking system for the upcoming Parents’ Evenings on Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th February. The online booking system will open on Monday 22nd January, at 8am and close at 12pm on Friday 2nd February. Please ensure your time slot is reserved by this date and time.

The aforementioned booking system is provided by School Jotter and will enable parents/carers to make their own bookings within the available time slots.

Meetings will be taking place between 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

Please click here for further information regarding our February Parents’ Evenings.

For those of you who have used School Jotter before, your username and password remain the same; the password can be changed if you have forgotten this.  Mrs. Greening will be in touch with login details, for Parents/Carers who are new to Elvington Church of England Primary School,  as soon as she receives them.

Newsletter 12-01-2024

Good morning and happy new year.

Please find this week’s newsletter below.

We have also attached this term’s club and music tutor information.  So far, we have had very little interest in any of the clubs and, unless this changes, we may have to consider cancelling the sport.  Please let me know should your child wish to be involved.

There is an exciting opportunity to receive free tickets to see the York Guildhall Orchestra at the Barbican, in the general news and events section.  Please note the change in menu on Thursday 18th, for Census Day.  All of Class 1 and 2 will receive a meal on this day.

The KS1 disco, Wednesday 20th December 5:00-6:00pm, is for both EYFS and KS1 children.

Sweet bags and drinks will also be available to purchase on the evening.

Parents are more than welcome to stay with the children for the EYFS & KS1 disco. KS2 parents are welcome to stay, however, this is neither expected or needed, unless you are supporting the event.

Many thanks for your support,Elvington PTA
